The City of Flowery Branch was incorporated January 1, 1874. The current population, at time of post, is 5,679. Total Area is 10.0 square miles. Flowery Branch, about 50 miles northeast of Atlanta, is probably best known as the site of the Atlanta Falcons training camp. The city is home to the $20 million Atlanta Falcons headquarters and training facility, which has sparked residential and commercial construction.

Flowery Branch was established as a city in 1874, a year after the Southern Railway System laid its tracks from Charlotte to Atlanta. The city is just off I-985 in Hall County on the shores of Lake Lanier. Just minutes from booming Buford, laid-back Flowery Branch still feels semi-rural. Lake Lanier and the Mall of Georgia are nearby, so residents get the best of both worlds – country living and quality shopping.

The location, quality of schools and larger home sites are drawing buyers and the Falcons help create a sense of community. Mid-priced homes cost about $170,000 to $220,000, with new developments offering homes in the $300,000 to $600,000 range.
