8 Ways To Dress Up Your Front Door
Are you having trouble coming up with an idea to spice up the exterior of your home… specifically the front door? Most people do. It seems that there is a fine line between choosing a bold look that catches eyes and a too severe one that makes people cringe. Below, see some of our favorite looks that strike that perfect balance. (CAUTION: Always make sure to check with your HOA to see if something is not allowed in your community.)
1 – Create an arch.
An arched front door adds an immediate charm. Especially if you can mimic this style with french doors and beautiful wreaths.
2 – Go Dutch.
Dutch doors, that is. If you can add a Dutch door to your home, go for it! The idea is perfect for letting a gentle breeze. Paint it a fun color like this!
3 – Stay Vintage.
If you have an old-school door and screened door, embrace it! Touch it up with paint or color it another hue entirely. But definitely keep the style… you don;t find it much nowadays!
4 – Black & White.
Everyone knows black and white is classic, never goes out of style. Take a note from this homeowner and add pretty simple touches for the perfect front door.
5 – Say how you feel.
Front door stickers are all the rage right now. From “Hello” to “Welcome,” there are so many options to greet your guests!
6 – Pretty in Pink.
This casually pink door looks normal at first glance, but catches your eye when you realize what a fun shade it is! Accessorize with white and gray.
7 – Lucky in Green.
These tall green french doors scream uniqueness and we love how it contrasts with a cream house exterior. Add lavender plants for a gorgeous finish!
8 – Bright Blue.
If you are searching for the perfect shade of blue, this is it. Not only is it vivid, but it will hide most wear because of the depth to it.
